Potomac - August 2003

The bumblebee was found at the end of it's days. As bees (and other insects) age, they get a little cranky (like many old creatures, including humans!) and slow down.
This old buzzer was nice enough to sit still for many photos, and a few movies. We did our best to help him by putting him on a flower, but he kept crawling into the street! We hope he got to where he was anxious to buzz off to.
